Tim has over two decades of experience developing and implementing security technology, including identity and access management, vulnerability assessment, compliance, threat research, encryption, and cloud security. He is currently the CISO for SolarWinds. A former Dell fellow, CTO, chief product officer, and chief architect, he has served on the board of the Open Identity Exchange and advised the U.S. government on security initiatives. He and his wife live on a 60-acre ranch, surrounded by horses and miniature donkeys.
